Gregory White, DMA, began yoga studies with Fred Dowd in 1996 and has taught regularly since 2001. Greg has completed the Introductory Iyengar Yoga Certification. He has participated in teacher training workshops with Dean Lerner, Chris Saudek and Joan White. A professional musician, he has performed with the orchestras of Dallas, Fort Worth and Detroit and appears regularly with the Dallas Opera. Greg finds BKS Iyengar's approach to studying and teaching yoga very compatible with the precision and attention to detail demanded of a musician. Likewise, the meditative, transcendent aspects of humanity are manifest in both yoga and music.
