Older man practicing yoga on a mat, lying on his back with knees bent and hands clasped on his stomach, in a yoga studio with wood floors and wall-mounted straps.

Larry Lane

In the early '80s, Larry explored various yoga forms until he found his path in Iyengar yoga in 1986. The clarity and intelligence of the instruction ignited a passion he has followed for over 30 years. He has studied with the Iyengar family, from BKS Iyengar to Geeta Iyengar and now Abhijata Iyengar. Grateful for guidance from senior teachers like Chris Saudek, Eddy Marks, and Mary Obendorfer, Larry is now a CIYT Level 2.

The man is in a downward dog position, with his right arm extended and holding the dog's paws, while the dog is on its back with its belly exposed. The studio has wooden flooring and wall-mounted ropes.

Larry’s teaching is clear, concise and strong - you’ll get a work-out as much as a work-in.

I LOVE dog training. I have learned a great deal about teaching yoga from what I've learned in dog training.
